WATCH THE BEARS AT FISH CREEK, HYDER AK, TONGAS NATIONAL FOREST

THE US FOREST SERVICE PERSONNEL OPERATES THE WILDLIFE VIEWING SITE AT FISH CREEK IN HYDER AK.
During the salmon run season bears are easy to spot and you can take great pictures from the safety of the platform. US Forest Service people offer a display of informative material on the site.
Be bear aware, specially on the parking lot, bears roam the area and sometimes hide inbetween motorhomes.

A VERY GOOD TIP: before driving to Fish Creek, stop at the BRIC (Bear River Intepretive Centre) on main street in Stewart and learn more about the bears, know the etiquette of wildlife viewing and the safety regulations that apply.
